Zulu is a 54ft Assegai, custom-built game fishing vessel based in Port Douglas which was launched in late 2014.
She boasts a Seakeeper gyro, Furuno omni-directional sonar, three wetfaced keel mounted transducers connected to the new Furuno chirp sounder system as well a Furuno 1150 sounder with a widebeam transducer. Zulu also features the Twindisc Express Joystick system which smoothly and simultaneously actuates and controls engines, transmissions, propellers and thrusters, which can hold the vessel in any fixed position, crab the boat diagonally or straight sideways, and rotates it 360° on its axis.
Accommodating up to 8 guests plus crew for day trips or up to 4 guests for multi-day liveaboard. Zulu’s guest accommodation consists of two cabins and two bathrooms. The master suite includes a Queen-sized bed with a single bunk on either side, as well as a full walk-in ensuite. The second guest cabin houses two single bunks with access to the main bathroom. You’ll find the crew in a third cabin. The vessel has air conditioning throughout with temperature control in each room and premium quality manchester providing the utmost comfort for your stay!
